Restless Futures
Restless Futures was launched with a seminar exploring creative uses of data for art and design. Stellar guests: Gavin Starks,Julie Freeman, Chris Downs, Sarah Pennington and Nadine Jarvis presented their current projects and discussed the promises of open data for democratising information flows and access.
Following the seminar, UAL students attended a hands-on Data Jam at the Open Data Institute where they discovered new possibilities for making creative uses of open data and to explored data driven ideas by identifying social, financial, environmental problems that need to be solved.
